D. Bryant Photography Privacy Policy


D. Bryant Photography LLC ("D. Bryant Photography") knows that you care about how your personal information is used and shared, and takes your privacy seriously. Please read the following to learn more about our Privacy Policy. By opening a photographer account on D. Bryant Photography's website at http://www.dbryantphoto.com, or using any of our services or products, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy.

What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?
This Privacy Policy covers D. Bryant Photography's treatment of personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") D. Bryant Photography gathers when you are accessing D. Bryant Photography.com and when you use our services. This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that D. Bryant Photography does not own or control, or to individuals D. Bryant Photography does not employ or manage.

What Personal Information Does D. Bryant Photography display or Collect?
This Privacy Policy covers the information we collect from each client/end user. End Users are users who have hired (or may hire) a Photographer for their occasion. The information we collect enables us to personalize and improve our services, and to allow you to set up a user account and profile that can be used to interact with D. Bryant Photography.com. We collect the following types of information from our users:

Personal Information You Provide to Us:
We receive and store any information you enter on D. Bryant Photography.com or provide to us in any other way. The types of Personal Information collected may include your name, gender, e-mail address, cell phone number, occupation, hometown, college, personal interests, and information about your use of the services on D. Bryant Photography.com. You may choose not to provide us with certain information, but then you may not be able to take advantage of many of our special features. The Personal Information you provide is used for such purposes as responding to your requests for certain information, products and services, customizing the advertising and content you see, communicating with you about specials and new features, and improving our services.

Are my pictures available for public viewing?
After you view the proofs your photographer has taken for you, you can edit these photos for viewing by your invited guests. Your site is password protected and only those people that you give the password to will have access to your event photos.

E-mail Communications:
We often receive a confirmation when you open e-mail from D. Bryant Photography if your computer supports this type of program. D. Bryant Photography uses this confirmation to help us make e-mails more interesting and helpful. You will receive an e-mail from Pictage if, (a) your e-mail address is either listed with us as someone who has willingly shared this address for the purpose of receiving information in the future ("opt-in"), or (b) you have registered or purchased, or otherwise have an existing relationship with us.

How can you stop receiving e-mail from us?
Some e-mail sent contains an easy, automated way for you to cease receiving e-mail from Pictage. If you wish to do this, simply follow the instructions at the end of any e-mail. Please note that requests to be removed from an e-mail distribution list can take up to 7 business days. If the email you receive does not have the link at the bottom, you can simply request a stop by responding with a reply email stating that you wish to be removed from any and all lists. If you have received unwanted, unsolicited e-mail sent via this system or purporting to be sent via this system, please forward a copy of that e-mail with your comments to privacy_policy@dbryantphoto.com for review. We respect your time and attention by monitoring the frequency of our mailings.

What About Cookies?

  1. Cookies are alphanumeric identifiers that we transfer to your computer's hard drive through your browser to enable our systems to recognize your browser and tell us how and when pages in our site are visited and by how many people.
  2. Most browsers have an option for turning off the cookie feature, which will prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, as well as (depending on the sophistication of your browser software) allowing you to decide on acceptance of each new cookie in a variety of ways. Will D. Bryant Photography Share Any of the Personal Information it Receives?

Photographer Services:
In order to allow Photographers to provide services to End Users, we share relevant personal information to facilitate, advertise, and make interactions more efficient. In particular, if a Photographer is unable to provide services to an End User who has requested services, so long as the Photographer has obtained consent to share the End User’s information with other Photographers, the Photographer may share the End User’s contact information with other Photographers via D. Bryant Photography who may be available to provide those services.

Agents:
We employ other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your information with them to provide products or services to you. Examples include sending email, analyzing data, billing, and providing user services. Unless we tell you differently, D. Bryant Photography’s agents do not have any right to use Personal Information we share with them beyond what is necessary to assist us. You hereby consent to our sharing of Personal Information for the above purposes.

User profiles:
User profile information including user ID and location may be displayed to other users to facilitate user interaction within D. Bryant Photography.com.

Communication in response to User Submissions:
As part of D. Bryant Photography.com and Services, you may receive from D. Bryant Photography and other users e-mail and other communication relating to your account. You acknowledge and agree that by opening your account, D. Bryant Photography and other users may send you e-mail and other communication that they determine in their sole discretion relate to your User Submissions.

Protection of D. Bryant Photography and Others:
We may release Personal Information when we believe in good faith that release is necessary to comply with that law; enforce or apply our Terms of Service and other agreements; or protect the rights, property, or safety of D. Bryant Photography, our employees, our users, or others. This includes, without limitation, exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection.

With Your Consent:
Except as set forth above, you will be notified when your Personal Information may be shared with third parties, and will be given the option to prevent the sharing of this information.

Is Personal Information About me Secure?
Your D. Bryant Photography account Personal Information is protected by a password for your privacy and security. You need ensure that there is no unauthorized access to your account and Personal Information by selecting and protecting your password appropriately and limiting access to your computer and browser by signing off after you have finished accessing your account. D. Bryant Photography endeavors to protect user information to ensure that user account information is kept private, however, D. Bryant Photography cannot guarantee the security of user account information. Unauthorized entry or use, hardware or software failure, and other factors may compromise the security of user information at any time. D. Bryant Photography.com contains links to other sites. D. Bryant Photography is not responsible for the privacy policies and/or practices on other sites. When linking to another site a user should read the privacy policy stated on that site. This Privacy Policy only governs information collected on D. Bryant Photography.com.

Please be aware that whenever you voluntarily post information to public areas on D. Bryant Photography.com or any other public forums, the public can access such information.

What Personal Information Can I Access?
D. Bryant Photography allows you to access the following information about you for the purpose of viewing, and in certain situations, updating that information. This list will change as D. Bryant Photography.com changes. You may currently access the following information:

  4. Name, email address, phone number, physical address, event date(s)

What Other Choices Do I Have?
As stated previously, you can always opt not to disclose information, even though it may be needed to take advantage of certain D. Bryant Photography features.

  1. You are able to add or update certain information on pages, such as those listed in the “What Personal Information Can I Access” section above. When you update information, however, we often maintain a copy of the unrevised information in our records.
  2. You may request deactivation of your account and deletion of personally identifiable information in your account by sending e-mail to privacy_policy@dbryantphoto.com. Please note that when your personally identifiable information is deleted we no longer have the availability to send you information. Additionally, some of your information may remain in our records after deactivation of your account.

Changes to this Privacy Policy
D. Bryant Photography may make changes to this Privacy Policy from time to time for any reason. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used or collected.
